Meet our co-founder and president, Merling Preza, general manager of PRODECOOP in Estelí, Nicaragua. Ms. Preza recently visited Pachamama's East Sacramento café, where she gave this interview discussing why coffee farmers have made an investment in the USA to sell their own coffee directly to consumers.
"We are the owners in the entire coffee chain, so it provides dignity for the farmers. This is one of the main things: as farmers we know what is happening in the market, it is our product from our hands to the consumers."
