BEHIND THE ARTWORK
Machu Picchu is the heart of Pachamama, and has become a symbol for honoring our Mother Earth and maintaining a life in balance with nature. In Inca mythology Pachamama is "Earth Mother" embodied by the rugged mountains, misty clouds, and lush greenery. Machu Picchu is also near the Valley of Santa Teresa, where Pachamama's very first coffee came from.
